Each week, we will explore a location through hands-on, nature-based activities that foster conversation and community-building among parents and children.
The Wonder Walk series at The Community School (TCS) came out of a desire to engage the youngest friends and their caregivers in our community in nature-based exploration and learning and to share the TCS campus and philosophy with families who may be interested in our Place-based teaching and learning model. We also aspire to hold a space for conversation and community to blossom among local families. Bringing the Wonder Walk series to the greater community comes from a place of sharing a deep love and care for the natural world and for one another, and to remind us all of the power of play, connection and being present.
This is a four-part series on consecutive Tuesdays.
